Welcome to The Growing Place where we are committed to Tilling the soil of our students imagination, while Growing their lives through quality whole-child education, as we assist in Planting them for a successful future.
 
We are a ministry of Radiant Life Church desiring to aid the child and family during these developmental, early childhood years. The facility and staff are committed to creating and environment that nurtures a child spiritually, socially, physically, and intellectually.
 
We are a state licensed facility that abides by all rules and regulations, plus our own standards of excellence. Our license is posted in the hall outside the school office, with all rules governing this center available upon request.
 
We are open 9:00am to 3:00pm daily with AM and PM classes, plus early morning care from 8:00-9:00am. Doors are open from 9:00-9:15am with drop off available at the entrance under the portico. Pick up time is 11:30-11:45am for morning classes or 3:00-3:15pm for afternoon classes, with pickup available under the portico also. We will put your child/children in the car for you, but state law does not allow us to buckle them in, so we ask that you pull forward to buckle them in, so we may keep our line moving.
 
Our tuition is an annual amount that is divided up over the nine months we are in session, from September to May. Tuition is due by the 5th of each month, no other fees are accessed and are payable regardless of vacation or sick days.
 
Any student remaining after the designated pick-up times will be accessed a fee of $5.00 per 15-minute segment.
 
 
 
 
 
 

REGISTRATION & PRICING

Complete Registration and send with your non-refundable registration fee of $90.00 per student. The registration fee encompasses all of the school supplies needed for the school year.

3 Days a Week:   $1440.00/year or $160.00/month
4 Days a Week:   $1530.00/year or $170.00/month
5 Days a Week:   $1575.00/year or $175.00/month
 
Enrichment or Nap Classes
Enrichment class is offered for our 3’s and Pre-K classes who have had class in the morning. Nap Class is offered to our 18 month & 2 year old classes. Afternoon classes are from 11:30-3:00pm with lunch time being from 11:30-12:30pm.

Extended Care Hours
We offer extended care hours in the morning from 8:00-9:00am at the rate of $3.50/hour or portion of the hour that is used. We will invoice you at the end of the month for anytime used. Extended care is available every day for any amount of time needed. We will input the time accordingly and send an invoice at the end of the month.

  • Greeting: free play, one on one learning activities, art projects.

10:00-10:15 AM  /  1:30-1:45 PM

  • Pick-up time: learning to put toys away properly and cooperatively.

10:15-10:45 AM  /  1:45-2:15 PM

  • Circle Time: teaching with finger plays, songs, stories, sharing and interaction.

10:45-11:15 AM  /  2:15-2:45 PM

  • Large Motor Play: supervised indoor and outdoor play to develop large muscle coordination and socialization.

11:15-11:30 AM  /  2:45-3:00 PM

  • Snack Time: relaxed time for table manners, conversation and teaching thankfulness to God.

*Time segments may vary but all activities are incorporated during each class period.

 
 
CLASSES & CURRICULUM

Our toddlers introduce the state early learning curriculum program. They work on letters, shapes, and colors.  Cutting, writing and drawing are also introduced. Learning to share and social skills are a daily objective as well.

Three year old classes use the Pathways for Preschool BJU Press Christian Curriculum along with learning every day social skills.

The pre-K four-year-old classes will concentrate on letters, letter sounds and recognizing numbers 1-20 using the Footsteps for Fours BJU Press Christian Curriculum.

The Sept. 5’s class will focus on language arts and math every day using the K5 Beginnings BJU Press Christian Curriculum.  Because the children are five by September 30th they are an older group and will have more structured classroom activities than the other classes. By the end of the year, our goal is to start learning sight words and participate in writing activities.  All classes re-enforce skills learned in previous years.
 
The Wadsworth Library comes every other week for an interactive story time. We also have music and Bible classes weekly.
